Tips & Tricks to Make the Broccoli in Butter Garlic Sauce

While making this recipe is super easy, you might want to keep these little tips and tricks in mind as well.

  • I used minced garlic for this recipe but if you like a bit of texture, you could chop up the garlic finally and then use it instead. If you don’t have fresh garlic, use granulated garlic or garlic powder instead.
  • Want some extra heat? Throw in some red chili flakes.
  • A dash of Italian seasoning mix can also amp up the flavors of this dish.
  • If you don’t have broccoli, you could also try the same recipe with broccolini instead.
  • I also like to add a squeeze of lemon juice to add a touch of freshness and brightness to the dish.
  • You can also sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on the top to lend some extra cheesy flavor to the broccoli recipe.
  • Remember to use a good quality skillet or a nonstick frying pan to make this dish to get that nice char on the broccoli florets.
  • While I would recommend using fresh broccoli, you could also try this recipe using frozen broccoli if you want to. Just remember to thaw it before using it.
