How Do I Store the Leftovers?

Your leftover methi muthias can be refrigerated for 2 to 3 days.
I would recommend using an airtight container to store them to preserve their freshness
Freezing the batter for the muthias will change its texture so I would not advise it.
You can also prepare a simple Indian gravy using tomato paste, onion and a few other spices, and then add your leftover muthias towards the end to make it a quick and easy lunch or dinner option. yummy air fried methi muthias

Tips & Tricks to Make the Air Fried Methi Muthias

Ready to try these air fried methi muthias? Here are a few tips and tricks you might want to take note of.

  • Remember to leave a little space between each muthia when you transfer them into the air fryer basket, this will help them cook nicely and turn crispy and golden on all sides.
  • Remember to brush a bit of oil over your muthias before you air fry them. This will lend them a bit of moisture and make them crispy as well.
  • To make these muthias more crispy, you can add some rice flour into the binding mixture as well.
  • If the mixture for the muthias is not soft enough, you can add some yogurt instead of water to bring some moisture in. This will make the muthias as well.
  • If you don’t want to use the Air Fryer but still want to keep the muthias healthy and low in calories, you can choose to steam them.
  • And of course, if you don’t mind the calories, you can choose to deep fry the muthias too. Just remember that the oil should be hot enough when you’re adding the muthias in, and then, you’ll need to cook them at medium-low heat to get them cooked all the way through.
