Frequently Asked Questions

What Else Can I Add to the Viral Chili Garlic Maggi?

I kept the dish simple and used just a few seasonings to add flavor to the Maggi, but you can also add some veggies into it to make it healthier and nutritious.
Bell peppers, carrots, baby corn, bok choy, broccoli, mushrooms and cabbage are all great choices. yummy chili garlic maggi

How Do I Store the Leftovers?

I wouldn’t recommend storing the leftover chili garlic Maggi for more than a few hours, ideally in a covered container.
While it won’t necessarily spoil, instant noodles taste best when you have them right when they’re made, and can tend to get all clumped up when they cool down.
To reheat the noodles, add a sprinkle of water into it and microwave it. top view of chili garlic maggi

Tips & Tricks to Make the Viral Chili Garlic Maggi

Making the chili garlic Maggi may be super easy, but you might want to take note of these little tips and tricks too.

  • Lemon juice can be a wonderful substitute for the vinegar in this recipe. It’ll add a nice tanginess that’ll balance out the spiciness.
  • You can also add a bit of sugar into it if you want to, to cut down the heat.
  • I used chopped spring onions as a garnish, but if you don’t have those, you can use almost any other fresh herb of your choice. Cilantro and parsley are great options.
  • Want to add a bit more heat to the dish? Add chopped green chillies into the mix.
  • To enjoy Italian flavors, add a sprinkle of Italian mixed herbs or Italian garlic bread seasonings into it.
  • To amp up the flavor and aesthetic appeal of the Maggi, you can sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese on it right before you serve.
  • To make the Maggi more filling, you can add some veggie or chicken meatballs into it, or top it with a sunny side up egg.
