What Can I Use Instead of Peanuts?

Peanuts work perfectly with the richness of the chocolate and the sweetness of the dates. That said, you can also experiment and try making versions of these bites with other nuts like almonds, cashews, pistachios, pecans and even walnuts.
In fact, you can also use a combination of two or more of these bites.

What Can I Use Instead of Sesame Seeds?

You can also substitute with almost any other seeds of your choice- sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds and even poppy seeds. Side vie image of Peanut Bites With Chocolate Filling

Why Isn’t My Dough Coming Together?

If the mixture for the bites isn’t coming together and seems too dry, you can add a bit of coconut oil into it to make it smoother and pliable. In contrast, if the mixture seems too soft, you can add more of the chopped nuts or some almond flour into it to balance things out.

Can I Prep These in Advance?

Yes, you totally can! These little bites are actually freezer friendly too, so you can easily make them in a big batch and store them for months.

How Do I Store the Leftovers?

Your leftover peanut bites can be transferred to an airtight container layered with some parchment paper and stored for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
