Frequently Asked Questions

What Else Can I Add to the Air Fried Rosemary Potato Wedges?

I have added a simple mix of rosemary, garlic powder and paprika to the potato wedges. You can also add some fresh chopped herbs and other seasonings of your choice.
A dash of smoky cayenne pepper can also elevate the flavors of these potato wedges.left side view of air fried rosemary potato wedges

How Do I Store the Leftovers?

If you have any leftovers, you can transfer them to a clean container and refrigerate them for up to 3 days. While these veggies can be reheated in the microwave, they might end up losing their crispy texture.
You can choose to reheat them in the Air Fryer so that they become extra crispy. top view of air fried rosemary potato wedges

Tips & Tricks to Make the Air Fried Rosemary Potato Wedges

While making these air fried rosemary potato wedges is super easy, you might want to take note of these little tips and tricks to nail the recipe.

  • I have coated the potato wedges in a simple mix of spices and olive oil before air frying them. You can also choose to add a bit of corn flour or rice flour to the mixture if you want to. This will help make the potato wedges even more crunchy.
  • If you don’t have rosemary and the individual spices needed for the recipe, you can just add a dash of Italian seasoning too.
  • If you want a bit of texture to the dish, you can choose to use chopped garlic instead of using the garlic powder
  • While you can use any kind of potatoes for the recipe I would highly recommend using russet potatoes as they have the perfect amount of starch needed to make the potatoes crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.
  • Remember to toss the Air Fryer  basket midway through the cooking process, to ensure that the wedges are all cooked through.
  • If you don’t have an Air Fryer, you can try making these potato wedges in the oven. Just make sure you use a heavy nonstick baking sheet that is well greased.
  • You can also chose to soak the potatoes wedges in hot water for a while to remove the excess starch before you use them for the recipe

Serving Ideas & Suggestions

The air fried rosemary potato wedges taste best when served hot, right out of the Air Fryer and teamed up with a dipping sauce on the side. You can stick to using ketchup or use ranch or any other dipping sauce you have at hand.
