Tips & Tricks to Make the Air Fried Pasta Chips

While making these air fried pasta chips is super easy, you might want to take note of these tips and tricks too!

  • You can use any kind of pasta to make the air fried pasta chips. I really like sticking to using the penne because it is easily available and that’s what I usually have at hand.
  • You can also experiment with other kinds of pasta. Just remember that the pasta should be cooked to perfection.
  • This easy recipe can actually be a great way to put any leftover pasta to use too. If you ended up boiling more pasta than you needed, you can use the leftovers for this recipe.
  • The time the pasta needs to cook in the Air Fryer and get crunchy depends on the size of the pasta. Smaller pasta like macaroni can cook pretty easily, whereas other larger sized pasta can take longer to cook and crisp up.
  • Avoid overcooking the pasta- just cook it until it is al dente.
  • Remember to grease the Air Fryer basket too, and don’t overcrowd the basket with too many pasta chips at the same time.
  • Make sure to toss the basket once or twice throughout the cooking process to get the pasta crunchy from all sides.
