How Do I Store the Leftovers?

If you have any leftovers, you can move them into a Ziploc bag and refrigerate them for 3-4 days. They taste best when reheated in the Air Fryer, as microwaving them can cause them to lose their crispy texture.top view of air fried buttermilk biscuits

Tips & Tricks to Make the Air Fried Buttermilk Biscuits

Making these air fried buttermilk biscuits is super easy, but you might want to keep these little tips and tricks handy too

  • Baking powder and baking soda or two important leavening agents that help these air fried buttermilk biscuits rise. Make sure you use the best quality for this recipe as it can affect the texture of these biscuits.
  • If you don’t have an Air Fryer, you can choose to bake these biscuits as well. Just remember that baking will take a longer time as opposed to air frying.
  • To lend a bit of delicate sweetness to the buttermilk biscuits, you can add a dash of honey to it.
  • Remember to start off with butter that is very cold, and incorporate it with other ingredients, taking care not to overly mix everything.
  • You can also cut the butter into ¼ inch cubes to make it easier to work with. The heat from your hands will gradually melt it, and when you slowly and gently work it into the dough, you’ll finally end up with ultra flaky biscuits.
  • You can also choose to refrigerate the biscuits after you’ve shaped them from the dough, and then Air Fry them. These will obviously take longer to cook, but the refrigeration will allow the butter to set, which will make the biscuits more flaky and delicious.
  • To make the tops of these biscuits more golden and brown, you can brush a bit of butter onto them before you Air Fry them.
