Ingredients

Ingredients For the first marination

  • 2 pcs Fish Fillet
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ tablespoon Mustard oil
  • ½ tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Dry fenugreek leaves (crushed)
  • ¼ teaspoon Asafoetida
  • ½ Lemon Lemon juice

Ingredients For the second marination

  • 2 tablespoon Curd
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Rice flour
  • 3 tablespoon Gram flour

Ingredients For the Green chutney

  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves
  • ½ cup Mint leaves
  • 10 pcs Garlic cloves
  • 5 pcs Green chilies
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Lemon Lemon juice

Ingredients For Onion Salad

  • 1 pc Onion rings Large
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Chaat masala
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • ½ Lemon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Green chili (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves (finely chopped)

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes. 
  • Take the fish fillets and cut them into finger sized strips.
  • In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the first marination along with the cut fish and mix well. Let the marinated fish rest for 15 minutes.
  • Next, add the ingredients of the second marination and mix well. Make sure the fish is properly coated with gram flour.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with oil. (Optional)
  • Transfer the marinated fish to the air fryer basket and cook them at 350°F for 10-12 minutes or until done.
  • You can flip them once in between and brush some oil so that they are cooked well.
  • For the green chutney, blend everything together in a blender. Adjust salt and lemon juice if required.
  • For the onion salad, mix everything together.
  • Serve Amritsari fish hot with green chutney and onion salad.
