- 1 large Banana leaf
- 300 grams Chicken pieces
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 8-10 leaves Heart leaf/Fish mint optional
- ¼ cup Coriander roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
- ¼ teaspoon Red chili powder
- 2-3 Green/Red chilies chopped
- ½ cup Cherry tomatoes halved
Heat the entire banana leaf over low to medium flame. Do not burn it. Heat just until the color changes.
Spread out the banana leaf. Add all the ingredients one by one. Give it a good mix.
Next, fold the banana leaf and tie it with a thread so that the mixture is secured inside.
Bring a steamer to a boil and add in the tied banana leaf. Let it steam for 35-40 minutes.
Heat a pan and place the stuffed banana leaf on it and cook each side for 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot with rice.
