Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water lukewarm
  • 2 tbsps Yeast
  • 1 tbsps Sugar
  • 1.5 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Yogurt As required
  • 6 tbsps Butter melted
  • 2 tbsps Cinnamon sugar
  • Chocolate syrup For garnish

Instructions

  • Take lukewarm water and add sugar and yeast to it. Let it sit for 5 minutes and bubble up.
  • Next, take a mixing bowl. Add the all purpose flour and salt and mix.
  • Add in the yogurt next and mix.
  • Add yeast mixture and give it a good mix. Bring the dough together as much as you can.
  • Knead into a smooth dough by taking it out of the bowl and onto a surface. Add more flour if needed.
  • Transfer back the dough into the bowl and cover with a wet cloth. Let the dough rest for an hour. Post an hour, it should double in size.
  • Pre-heat the air fryer.
  • Once the dough has risen to twice its size, make tiny roundels of the dough. Make as many as you can.
  • Coat the roundels with 4 tbsps melted butter.
  • Transfer them to the air fryer and cook at 180℃ for 5-6 minutes. The donuts are ready.
  • Transfer them to a mixing bowl and add in the cinnamon sugar along with the 2 tbsps of melted butter and give them a good mix.
  • Garnish with chocolate syrup and serve hot.
