Drain and rinse canned jackfruit.
Chop or cut the jackfruit chunks into tiny pieces.
Transfer the shredded jackfruit in an instant pot in the pot, and add the Madras curry sauce. Mix well. Add the taco seasoning and give a good stir. Now add, onions, tomatoes and green chili and mix well.
Add water inside the instant pot inner pot and place the pot with jackfruit and curry sauce mixture.
Close the lid and seal the valve.
Set the IP to pressure cook for 10-minutes.
After 10-minutes, wait for the natural pressure release and then open the lid. It’s okay if you see a lot of liquid in the pot.
Transfer the mixture to the instant pot inner pot and set the IP to sauté mode.
Stir and cook the jackfruits till the water evaporates and the curry sauce coats the jackfruit really well.
