Ingredients

  • 12 Pumpkin Pieces
  • 1 cup Chickpea Flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 cup Oil (For frying)
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala (For garnish)

Instructions

  • Soak the pumpkin pieces in salt water for 20 minutes
  • Take a mixing bowl and add the chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Next add water and whisk the mixture together.
  • Add in the pumpkin pieces next and coat them well with the chickpea flour mixture.
  • Heat oil for frying and fry the pieces for 3-4 minutes over medium flame or until they turn golden brown.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot as a snack with tea or coffee.
