In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients apart from water. Mix.
Next, add water little by little and knead the flour into a smooth dough.
Apply oil on the dough and cover it and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.
Next, take a small portion of the dough and grease it with oil. Roll it out as thin as you can. It is okay if it tears. You may need to use a lot of oil in order to roll it out thin.
Next, join the longer sides and make it into a long thin rope like structure.
Then roll the elongated dough into a ball.
Press with your hands to flatten it out.
Next, heat a flat pan or tawa. Transfer the flattened dough onto the pan and cook each side for 3-4 minutes over a low to medium flame.
Serve hot with curry of your choice.
