Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • ½ tablespoon Mustard Oil
  • 10-12 Pineapple Slices
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Instructions

  • Take all the spices on a plate along with the mustard oil and mix well.
  • Next, take the pineapple slices and properly coat them with the spice mix.
  • Sprinkle ½ tablespoon sugar on the pineapple.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Sprinkle the remaining sugar on the pan.
  • Transfer the spice coated pineapple slices to the pan. Cook for 15-20 minutes in low to medium flame. Keep flipping the pineapple slices at regular intervals. Cook until the slices are caramelized.
  • Once cooked, let the slices come to room temperature.
  • Serve as a delicious side with your meals or munch as mid-day snack.
