To make the dumplings, mix together gram flour, rice flour, green chilies, salt, turmeric, and water to form a batter.
1 cup Gram Flour, 2 tablespoons Rice Flour, 2 Green Chilies, 1 teaspoon Salt, 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder, 2 cups Water
Heat oil in a deep pan and drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Oil for deep-frying
To make the curry, heat oil in a saucepan and add the chopped onions, green chilies, minced garlic, and ginger paste. Cook until the onions are soft and translucent.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.

Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Cook for a couple of minutes until fragrant.

Pour in 1 cup of water and bring the mixture to a boil.

Add the fried dumplings to the curry and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Serve hot with rice or bread.
