Ingredients

Ingredients For the Egg garnish

  • 1 pc Egg
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Ingredients For the dumpling soup

  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup Green Onions (chopped)
  • 2 cups Chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 3 pcs Frozen dumpling (thawed)
  • 1 sprig Green onions (chopped for garnish)
  • 1 bowl Prepared egg strips (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, add the egg, salt and pepper. Mix.
  • Next, heat oil in a non-stick pan and distribute the oil evenly.
  • Pour the egg mixture onto the pan and cook each side for 1 minute.
  • Once the egg is cooked and cooled, cut it into long thin strips.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add the minced garlic. Saute.
  • Add the green onions and season with salt and black pepper powder. Saute.
  • Next, add the chicken stock and let the mixture boil.
  • Continue boiling until the liquid reduces by half.
  • Next add the dumplings. Mix.
  • Cook the dumplings for a minute or two.
  • Once they are cooked, take them out of the soup and place in a bowl. Top it with a few scoops of the soup. Garnish with the egg strips and chopped green onion.
